Scared to death of needles!! :'(

My ba is on march 13th an i HATE HATE HATE needles the thought of it is making me feel sick and want to cry lol must sound weird seeing as im more than happy for my chest to be cut open but dont want a little needle lol.. is anyone else the same as me and is there anything i can do to help? or can i be knocked out with gas before the needle?? xxx

honest its a total walk in the park. i abso hate them to. They put a tiny wee needle in ur hand to relax u. its not sore at all then u just drift away next thing u wake up with booooooooooooooooooobies lol.

i hate needles as well, despite having tattoos and piercings, and they where great with me, and my phobia, honestly i felt the local, then nothing (i was asleep before they had really started)

at my pre op, they butchered my arms, making me even more scared of them, but the new boobs are worth it xx

i hate it too i havent had any of my TB, MMR, polio jabs an all that, i wouldnt even have the cervical cancer one even though i had a little scare! im terrible..

i was cryin like a baby, literally about 2 leave the hospital bed thinkin noway can i do this part, the anesthetist said u should of told me if u was scared of needles! gave me a mask, took 3 breathes an was instantly relaxed, thought of bikinis lol, it put me to sleep & once ur asleep then they do the needle business, so u dont even know!! ask em about the gas x

hey babe i have just had my boobs done yesterday and i was petrified like i have panic attacks and everything and when i told them this they were fab. they numbed both hands and you can get gas and air when you go in so make you all dopey so you cant feel a thing and just dont look- i was offered the gas and air but decided to be brave and go without that and after clenching my fist for ten minutes and the nurse flicking my vien i honestly did not feel it i had to ask if it was done lol and no panic attack or even tears honest dont worry you will be great – good luck xxxxx

I’m so scared of needles too!! I’m not fussed about them lifting up my chest or anything – just the needle at the start…. I also have tattoos and piercings which I’m no problem with.

I tried to give blood about a year ago and I collapsed and it was so embarrasing as I was crying like a baby – and I hate crying in public, let alone with about a hundred people gathering round me!). Such an awful experience for me!

I’d definately going to ask for something to calm me. xx

babe i am terrified of needles..especially because when i was young i had a lump punch up my spine….i find looking at the needle when they do it better than looking away because I am a control freak….actually my anaestetic didnt knock me out so i had two injections:( but in the end its okay….i had a panick attack actually but im still alive and fine now…u will be suprised how brave your body can be….

thank you girls!!! think i ill ask about the gas! just found out im not having disolvable stitches an will have to have them taken out, thats bloody freaked me out aswell! im such a wimp haha xx

I was scared about getting my stitches out but you can’t feel it all xx
