scared to get my bandages off

itll be a relief to get it off tho

i wonder what my scars look like underneath

i double checked what she said n she said it would be fine

im not going to put it on til they look completely healed over tho

they look like little ridges now
will they flatten??

good news. I’m still putting oil on, normally twice a day and my boobs feel lovely and soft. I’m 4 months post op YAY

bio oil does work….. or it has done for me. I had stretch marks and they have reduced loads.

I was told only to put it on after 6 weeks.

nah she said put it all over for now to help the skin
have to wait a few more says til the plasters fall off my scars and then i can put it on there too
as long as they arent open wounds

i was surprised too but she says it helps to put it on asap

nothing to worry about [= but my boobs werent really painful anyway, just my right one where the drain was
all she did was start pulling it off and using a damp wipe to get it off easier, ticked more than anything
stuck a few little strips on where my drains had been and on my scars
didnt realise they made separate holes for the drains but apparently they did haah

THEY LOOK SO MUCH BIGGER haha xD now i can see them, i love them, got a 36DD on, im usually a 32 or 34

but yeah, i cant lower my pillows now and start putting bio oil on[= she said she couldnt stress enough how helpful bio oil is when u get your bandages off so i’d get some of that girls! also enourages you to massage them abit with the oil so scar tissue is less likely to build up

feel looads better

Oh my gawwd are you bein serious?? They’re jus ripped off?? I think ill keep them on!! Not lookin forward to that at all, I thought they would wet or steam it off or somethin!!x

hi i remember those bandages well, it does not hurt hon, your just too pleased to get the darn thing off you cope, i had an allergy to the taping, it drove me mad n irratated with the sports bra on for weeks after..x

i had my bandages of 19 days ago and i wasnt looking forward to it but i loosened it alll around top and bottom day before which was a releif
and when i seen nurse she said i did a good thing because it made it easier for her and it came of no bother,the nurse was very gentle
and wiped it as she removed it so it came of easy good luck x

oh nooooo hahahaha
i’d rather just do it myself hahaha
i might just have a cheeky little rip of some of it later so it comes off easier tomorrow hahaha

Sorry if i have worried you a bit, but its better to be prepared, just grit your teeth x x x

when i had mine removed, it was the worst pain of the whole experience, maybe i was just extra sensitive, but i could have easily cried. I thought may be they would use something to stop it being so sticky, but no they are jsut ripped off. x x x
