Scarring

Hey girls I’m 8 days PO and my incisions seem to be swelling put almost. Is this normal? Or should they stay flat?? Xxx

I expect they will go flat, it’s like any cut, it raises, and then during healing process it normally flattens. Just keep a eye on it, one of mine is a little raised but at my 7day appt yesterday they said they are healing nicely. So I shouldn’t worry to much blaire xxx

I had my strapping off yesterday and the incisions were flat and tiny, now a day and a half with just the bra and they’re swelling outwarda a bit too! Hopefully it’s just how scars heal :/

Im 13 xays post op and my right one is starting to itch a little x

I’m same! My right one is abit tender and has swelled out slightly, I think aslong as it doesn’t look really red or sore then we should be okay girls!!! xxx

That’s the normal healing process with scars , as long as you oil them cream them they will be fine it takes time tho, I recommend mederma gel xxx

Is itching normal x

Mine were quite itchy, I had dissolvable stitches though so I don’t know if this had something to do with it. Just keep them dry & clean the bumpiness goes down before you know it! 🙂 xoxo

Itching just means they are healing girls 🙂 I’m 8 weeks post op and mine still occasionally itch and are still a bit bumpy and raised, its the stitches under the skin and they can take 3 months to dissolve xx

My are not raised…but my god they itch, it is the worse feeling having an itch you can not scratch the hell out of lol xxx

Mine don’t itch at all, one is healing nicely but the other is scabby and one end had a hole in it that keeps weeping. Is this okay? Or should I get it checked out? xx

yeah itching is normal that’s just them healing, weeping hole you need to get it checked out, it could be just a stitch that hasn’t dissolved I pulled mine out but go get it checked by the nurse or your own doctor xx
