Mine are a bit bumpy & I have quite a big lump on left side, but the nurse assured me this would disappear in time. Ny doctor told me to rub e45 cream onto it to break down the scar tissue Xx

Katejo I’ve heard the same thing that massaging it can break down the sca tissue. Haven’t yet booked surgery but I thought that you got dissolvable stitches? Was this not the case ells70? Borrkkkkk… I can’t be doing with having stitches taken out x

Try not to worry, they will probably look completely different in a few weeks. At 6 weeks you can use dermatrix scar sheets which are supposed to be really good for reducing scars x

I think it’s quite normal as most people tend to have bumpy scars to begin with x
