scars

4 weeks post op girls an scars r fully closed !! bin told by pc nt to massage them till 6 weeks,but im unsure on the bio oil jst on my scars? wen is the best time to start usin it can any 1 tell me plz if any 1 has used it all ready an has it made a diffrence xx

The nurse told me not to use it until 6 weeks check up. Mine are over though whether that makes any difference i don’t know -probably doesn’t!!! You can use it on boobs not scars potential infection i ws told so don’t risk it

well i went for my week check up the other day
my nurse said use it from them on
wait til your scars are closed up and then use it on them
the sooner you start the better

but i’d ring up to check, or leave it to be on the safe side

tho the amount of chemicals that get on then when washing anyway i dont see how abit of bio oil will do much harm
