scars…

just wondering when the scars go pink, im 2 weeks post op and they are still quite red and nurse said they are healing well. but cant wait for them 2 heal over as it makes me nervous about doing anything while i can still c the cut.

Also when can i pick my daughter up and things, nurse said not too till 6 weeks, but its really difficult as i cant carry her up to bed or anything?? xx

hey my scars are the same they look very red and in parts quite scabby i jst want them to heal, im 2 weeks post op aswel so seems like were the same lets hope they heal soon! who did you have and what size? ino i shouldnt have but ive had a cuddle with my neice the other day and held her for a little and i was fine just when she wriggled she court me which wasnt good really hurt! xx

Hey ladies, the scars will heal over time, you can bearly see mine, it’s been 7 years since my operation but the scars healed within a year. Best thing to rub into them is Elizabeth Arden 8 hr cream or Bio Oil. x

hiya smith89,yeh im the same with my daughter i cant wait till i can properly pick her up, just cant wait for the skin to properly cover up, it makes me uneasy when they like this! i had mr traynor at manchester, 340cc unders. what did u have? hopefully theyll change in the next few weeks, they are changing evryday. xx

hey Emily i also had Mr Traynor at manchester i had 380cc overs, ino im the same cant wait till there gone it makes me feel weezy when i see them and scared of them spliting! ino they wont! when did u have yours? i was 2 weeks wednesday just been xx

Hi ladies,

I was worried about scarring as I knew I scarred quite badly. I’m 9 days post op and I’m worries about my scars because they are really raised, I can feel them through my bra. I don’t think this is normal.xx

smith89- yeh me 2, the nurse was laughing the other day when i said im scared theyll rip open haha! 2weeks yesterday i had mine, went back to work today and managed surprisingly well thought id find it hard xx

hi niki, mine are exactly the same, really raised but it is starting to go down xx

mine felt the same through the dressing but when the dressings were off they werent bad it was just the scabbing! so many people have said the scars are fine when they have healed fully so i think we will be fine! hopefully xx
