Scars and other complications -eeek!

Hi everyone

I’m having a freak out over many issues surrounding my BA in September.

I remember having a small operation which left me with a 2 inch scar that turned out thicker than expected and red for a good few years. I’m worried this will happen again with my ba.

Also, is anyone else worried about the long-term commitment implants create? Realising I will need probably at least one, or maybe two or three more operations in my lifetime

I’m also worried about capsular contraction and losing all feeling in my boobs (boobs feel nice to be touched!!!)

Perhaps it’s because it’s late and I’m freaking out a bit but it’d feel nice to hear all your thoughts on these things.

hi ya, its normal to worry about every single thing hun, i was a nervous wreck leading up to my op. my scars are very tiny, and haved faded loads and im only 5 months post op, but i do have numbness in patches over my boobs, but to be honest,it dont bother me too much. as 4 capsular contracture,i worry about this too, as it can occur at any time, but i knew in my mind that id never be happy if i dont have this op, so i had to just go for it. i guess youve just got to think of the postives about the surgery, because there are lots, and im very glad i did it xx

Dont panic! the chance of anything going wrong is like -1%, i have numb boobs now but id rather it be like that at least you cant feel the pain! and plus you cant really feel um before anyway unless you squeezed them so your not really missing anything there! annnddd your boobies will be that big you wont be able to see the scars! if you stress about it you just end up ruining the whole experience like i did, but now i look back and laugh at some of the things i use to say! your having a big surgery and you get these tiny little scars for a few months but in the long run you get these massive gorgeous sexy boobies, lots of girls would kill to be actually having it done! you will be fine dude x x
