scars – nearly 5 months post op and stil red :(

hey girls,

im 5months post op next wk. and since 4wks i have been using dermatix scar sheets, and i do think they are fab cz my scars are not raised at all and are so neat, jst a small red line. but after being on holiday last week and wanting to go topless i was still really paranoid about my scars because they are stil rly visible! i was going to wear my scar sheets because they are clear and i no they say ur scars shouldnt be in direct sunlight for 6months-1yr after, but u stil would have been able to c them.

any post op ppl how long wil they take to stop being red and hardly there!? and anyone who has used dermatix sheets how long have u used them for?

I know khanni’s are still abit red Hun, I wouldn’t worry too much though everyone heals at different rates and they’ll dissapear soon enough I’m sure X

thanx! khannis not as far post op as i am tho just want them to disappear nw! getting really frustrated! cant wear my scar sheets enough and i really was hoping they would be gone by about 6months but not looking that way! xx

Everyones just so different it’s hard to tell what will happen with scars n stuff but just keep goin with your sheets and I’m sure they’ll soon start to disappear Hun X

Mine are still reddy purple and still sore sometimes, I’m 3 months post op.

I was told not to have them exposed to the sun at all for at least a year as they can permanantly redden. Dr C told me not to bother with the scar sheets as they aren’t raised at all, just red

fairy- ohh noo are they?! im sure ther not tat bad!

its really frustrating wen uv got the perfect boobs uv always wished for but jst with the scar cant wait til they go!

ros- i thought scar sheets were supposed to help with them fading aswel not jst to reduce the raised bits, hope so anyway! xx
