Scars still very very red at 11 weeks (but they are nice and smooth)

Hi as above. Is this normal?

I have been rubbing bio oil on morning and night, Im just sort of rubbing it across the scars for 20 seconds. Is this enough? Is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks x

I did an experiment using dermatrix gel for a week and used just bio oil for a week and the dermatrix has the better effect!!!!!!!!

I have the gel! Bio oil good tho and I think it prevented me having strEtch marks

Ah thanks Anchovie. Dermatrix gel, where do you get that from? I might just google it. Do you just rub it into the scars like the bio oil? x

i’ve been using the dermatix gel too and have found that good. i got a tube from ebay and wasnt too expensive. this is the gel your looking for…

although you can probably get it cheaper if you search around ebay. think i paid £15 for 60g tube. bio oil is good too so i’m using dermatix twice a day and bio oil once a day

This is probably a stupid question but do oils/creams go off – I bought loads of stuff when I was pregnant a couple of years ago to combat stretch marks and didn#t really use it. Also I bought some bio oil about 4 years ago!?! x

It’s up to u hun but I prob wouldn use it after 4 years, if u look on the bottle there will be a lil pic of a bottle lid open and a number under Neath it like 12m or 18m which means shouldn use after openin for this long, if that makes sence lol, it’s on every product shampoos an that, mite cause a skin irritation see xx
