MYA will use only the best honey, they care to much about their patients, they will have a team of people checking out products they use all the time, making sure they give us the best they can,if you think about it,they hire the best surgeons,no way are they going to use inferior implants, the surgeons would’nt do it,I think MYAs standard are very high when it comes down to what is good for the patient, dont worry honey.

Also only been 8 cases of cancer reported with women with these inplants in France when 40000 have them!!x

I wonder if people who went abroad for ‘cheap’ surgery have received these implants?

    Hi Sammie

Just to assure you that the news article is relating to PIP implants, here at MYA we only use Allergan manufactured implants which adhere to the strictest of medical checks and are not part of the report that has featured in the media today.

There is no cause for concern but if you’d like to discuss this further, your Patient Co-ordinator will be more than happy to help.

    Thanks

I imagine so as I’m sure it’s only this country and America who banned them!! Worrying isn’t it!! Shows We should all do our research but having said that my friend has pip implants and done whet research before having them but they were seen to be safe when she had them!! Only a few months after did it all come out about the rupture rates, use of industrial silicone etc and now over a year after them being banned about the “cancer” threat!!x
