yes! it took me 5yrs to finally go ahead with it! but honestly, going to sleep was the best bit! n i jus felt tipsy when i woke up, it was amazing! it doesnt matter how many people tell u not to worry about it, your gna!but they have highly qualified people with u 24/7, think it would be hard for something to go wrong x

Shonamarie i felt exactly the same on friday when i had my surgery i got really upset on the thursday night but my other half said you will come though it there professionals and do BA every day of there lives. i was still scared but when i got there i started thinking about the positives of having the surgery and getting to see my fellas face when i come round thats what got me through it. I remember lying there before they put me to sleep thinking this is it i distracted myself my asking questions to the guy knocking me out before i knew it i was out and an hour and 15 mins later came round i was just fine. you will be ok its only natural to feel scared. just think of things that make you smile like your little boy or how confident you will feel once its all over with :-) hope this advise helps chick xx

Yeah l was the same scared but excited too and l had been put to sleep before. The scariest thing for me was actually walking down to the theatre bed then climbing on the bed, but the anesatist bloke was so lovely like the other girls said best bit in the end. My prior 7 day headache was gone when l woke (miracle) and could not keep lookin down at my boobs. :-) xx

l think now what was l so scared off.xx

shonamarie.. ive got my op on wednesday and im getting scared off going under now too… i dont like the though off having to walk down to theatre and climbing on bed thats when it hit me, maybe shred a tear or too. lol but looking forward to waking up and seeing too big boobs.. so we have to get over the scary part and think of the end result.

Yal be fine honest. Its quite a nice feeling u get like a tingly jaw and then a drunk vodka type feeling through ya hody lol then ur awake is mad!!

If u scared of needles get the numbing cream ya dont feel a thing.

Nothing will happen under ga there is a nurse/practitioner there and their job is to watch the monitors incase u start declining or waking up dont worry at all x
