Scoliosis

So I’ve seen the surgeon and am trying to come to a final decision. Mainly, I’m scared!

The main thing holding me back is that I have mild scoliosis (curvature of the spine) and am worried that having implants will affect the scoliosis. The surgeon said that this shouldn’t happen but there’s always a chance.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation and if so what helped you decide what to do?!
