I’m in the process of arranging my travel home after my breast reduction.
It’s a hired taxi so obviously I HAVE to wear a seatbelt, I’m a little worried about the potential pressure against my chest!

I held my seatbelt outwards slightly so it left a gap incase my husband turned corner too quickly or needed to break so I wouldn’t get hurt. It was a pain holding it for 2 hours constantly but didn’t want to risk it. Xx

Did you have a chauffeur driving you though or someone you know?
This is a taxi company and driving from London to Birmingham so I’m thinking they’ll be keen to follow law.
I’ve discovered I can get a certificate from the doctor to excuse me from using a seatbelt so I’m looking into this

I put a pillow across my chest and then put the seatbelt over that. Perfectly fine and legal. It was still majorly uncomfortable but better than no pillow.

I still wear a little cushion between the seatbelt and my boobs, 4 weeks on. It helps but I’d definitely wear a seatbelt.. Better safe than sorry.

get a pillow or blanket and wrap it round the seat belt.. it’ll just feel nice and soft instead of a pulling feeling x
