Is that the last consultation before the op or do you need to go in again? When do you choose what size and type you want? So many questions! xx

What is the pre op? I’m just worried about taking too many days off work! xx

Hi suzy, I just replied to your other post. A pre-op is normally 1 to 2 weeks before surgery and this is just a health check up with the nurse. So they take ya blood pressure, weight etc just to make sure your fit and healthy before surgery. xxx

Hey hun, I saw the surgeon on my 2nd consultation, and was so happy with everything I’d seen and heard that I booked it there and then! Luckily the nurse had a spot for me on the day, so she could do all my check ups, take my photos etc.. and now I’m good to go! Don’t need to go back in before my op, so just sitting and waiting now. The only reason you should need to go back would be if you weren’t fully satisfied, or would like to see another surgeon (or if the nurse needs to make an appt. for another day). Hope that helped a bit! xx

Thanks jessbell! Did you have to pay a deposit there and then to secure your date? xx

Yeah I did, I didn’t go in expecting to do it at all, but it just felt right! So handed over my card and the deed was done :) xx
