Ok so I only posted about 2 hours ago about meeting Mr Singh but I’m sitting here having second thoughts already… has anyone else experienced this? I’m thinking about cancelling my surgery as I haven’t had any children yet and I’m just thinkin what’s the point in having an uplift now if having children is just gunna ruin them in the future :/ I might aswell wait
I paid in full but according to the information pack I have a 7 day cooling off period after meeting the surgeon. Can anyone confirm this, I’ve emailed my PC but I doubt I’ll get a reply until tomorrow as it’s late now.. Any help would be appreciated xxx

They will alter in pregnancy as normal boobs so but they say aslong as you look after them ie good support bras during pregnancy and after whilst your milk is in or when feeding , once you have had baby things go back pretty much to normal ???
Only you can decide though hun I guess xx

I know thanks for the reply ladies, I think i just feel like if I have even a little doubt I should wait cuz it’s a lot of money to spend and then regret in the future. Just hoping I’ve read the t&c’s right and I am entitled to a full refund…. I’m goin on holiday in feb so I’m just gunna make myself feel better by buying loads of new padded and push up bikinis haha! xx

I’m 19 and getting my boobs done on Monday and I can’t wait! I had a little bit of a moment where I thought do I really want to mess with my body but I can’t wait to get my old confidence back!! I don’t need an uplift, mines just a breast enlargement but I must admit the thought of pregnancy later on in life did cross my mind. I think a boob job would make me extra careful for not getting pregnant though to be honest because I wouldn’t want to ruin them after spending all that money! But obviously at some point when I do want kids, the implants usually need changing around 10-15 years anyway so hopefully it’ll fall in this time bracket haha 🙂 I’ve heard that as long as you wear good support bras throughout ten they’re usually fine anyway though 🙂 xx

yes i can relate to this!! lol and i met my surgeon but didnt decide its what i wanted so i walked away with information then i decided two weeks after that i cant even walk outside wid zero boobs so when i booked the date by paying deposit i was told if i changd my mind i will not get my deposit back and and if i change the date i will have to pay extra £150 as i paid in full by then so basically stuck even though in my situation i was given wrong info etc but mya will not accept anything that puts them in a position where the customer might just be right its sad but true so im sorry to say you wont get deposit but if your pc is nice enough they should pay back your remainder and if you dont want to lose the discount which is £500 you can ask to use this money on another mya procedure if you wanted or ask ppl on here who are not booked yet they could pay you and take your place you could ask mya that just trying to think its not nice to lose money xx

Don’t worry about it, if you’re not ready then you shouldn’t do it. It took me over 2 years to brave myself up to do a tummy tuck. I paid deposit before with a different co, and backed out of it twice before.
I wasn’t ready then. And I’m glad I waited. It was worth it…if you have an uplift you may not be able to breast feed..normal BA is fine..with the uplift they move the nipple.
    Good luck with it..

If it was just a standard enlargement then I would have no second thoughts but it’s purely the idea of the uplift that puts me off at this stage Mr Singh even said he really doesn’t like to do uplifts at my age. I’m guna ring the clinic tomorrow and see where I stand on a refund as I only met the surgeon today and the t&c’s state that aslong as the procedure is cancelled within the 7 days after seeing the surgeon it’s a full refund so i’ll just have to clarify it. Thanks for all of your replies, it’s really helpful to hear other peoples situations 🙂 and good luck to you all pre op or post op 🙂 x

Good news indeed, but don’t wait till the last min. It’s a lot to lose.
And I’m glad Dr Singb himself said he’s not comfortable dointjay at your age. I mean he does what the customer wants but I’d listen to his advice and wait. Get your money back, go on holiday instead 😉

I know, my PC is out of the office til Tuesday so I have to wait until then. I’m gutted about cancelling but I know in my head it’s the right thing to do but it’s hard to deal with the idea of an uplift when I’m so young. So yes I already have a holiday booked for February so I’m gunna use the money to have a shopping spree 🙂 Thanks for your advice Yana, it has helped to clear my head xx
