I am now 3 weeks post op and my nipples feel hyper sensitive and also I feel very uncomfortable in my sports bra.

Unusual as they dont feel sore to touch but feel uncomfortable (like a heavy feeling) when I am sat down.

When do you think they will feel normal.

Also, I like the shape and where they are at the moment. Do you think they will drop any now?

What us girls do hey to make us feel good about ourselves……

hi Bev, i had really sensitive nipples for at least 3 months! I found putting a breast feeding pad inside my sports bra helped a bit!!!

3 weeks to still really early, and they are likely to drop, soften and change a lot more yet. Apparantly they can take up to a year to settle!

Hmmm what we do – but hey it’s great having boobs isn’t it hehe xx

    Hi Bev
I’ll be 5 weeks post op on Wednesday and my nipples are still quite sensitive, but not as bad as they were a couple of weeks ago. Luckily for me though I was told not wear a bra of any kind for 6 weeks, so haven’t had to put up with that irritating me, thank goodness!! I don’t know for sure how long it takes for the implants to drop and settle into the final posistion, I think its different times for everyone and also if you have had unders it takes a bit longer for them to drop cos the muscle is restricting and holding the implant. I personally thought it could take anywhere from now -12 months, but like I said I’m not sure.
Congratulations on your new boobies by the way!!!! xx
