Luckily I had a good experience with Mya, nothing went wrong (which i was expecting with my luck)
I was set to have my Op at Highgate hospital, nurses were great.. apart from the night nurses who arent the most friendly. I was mostly dreading the waking up in pain part although i had nothing of the sort just felt although i was about to throw up, the nurses immediately gave me an injection (which bruised my arm a lovely brown till now). Dr G said that i bled an aweful lot during my op so when i woke up i was bleeding a lot from my eyes, streaming blood for say an hour tops and shaking. (sounds worse than it was, nobody likes blood) not trying to turn this into a gruesome horror sorry girls!
Got taken back to my room by 2 hunky young threatre staff, they may have been hot I was very dosed up. My mum slipped it in later that they were, greeeat!
back in room, relaxed, had sips of water then munched on some spoonfed Ice.
(Oh my op took 3 hours also)
Coming back from london to cardiff, nurses rang to see if i was OK. Journey was hell bumpy car. Got home, recovery started day 1.. day 2 etc everyday got better.
The WORSE thing was having the stitches removed i wish my surgeon Dr G used dissovable ones unfortunately he doesnt, having them out wasnt pleasant.
Then the worse thing was having to go back to have another 3 stitches that had been left in by accident. Just dose yourself up on ibrobufen to get the edge off!
Day 9 and i’m feeling great, nose still slightly blocked. Wanting to go out!
Cast off on Monday. I’ll pop on some pics to let you all see the final results!
