Sex post op?

No one seems to mention this but is there anyway around the 6 week no sex rule? anyone been ok? anyone had any disators? With my new found confidence its hard not to consider it. x

omg is it really 6 weeks?! what are we meant to do?? haha i thought it would be like 2 / 3 max xxx

When i had my pre op, you know how you get told about all the do’s and dont’s, the nurse said no like vigorous exercise like the gym for 6 weeks including sex. I was horrified, im almost 3 weeks post op and yeah…i think itll just have to be slightly gentle perhaps? Wasnt sure if anyone else had got the same or knew anything about it!!

me and my partner have already thought about this but just said i`d have to keep my bra on at worst lol xx

ive told mt otherhalf about te 6 weeks thing and he aint happy he reckons we will go really gentle lol!! Might have to hold them still a bit at the same time and c if that helps lol x

Im the same, Im two and a half weeks now and im not waiting any more!! im not in pain, i cant wear a bra at all for 6 weeks so ill just hold onto them if i have to haha!

Dr Traynor, from what i gather theres not many people who get told not to wear one not even a sports bra. I had unders and my mam said when she was chatting to the receptionist at my post op, she mentioned it and said that it might be because im young i dont need alot of support. Had a nightmare with clothes due to ultimate nipple visibility until someone on here told me about these primark vests with padding in them i just had to cut out the underwire. Getting used to my new booobies and like no bra around the house cos they just seem massive to me!

Oh right i have mr adamo sept he said up to me bra or not

but to be fair ive had 2 kiddies and want mine to stay as pert and supported as poss lol so i`ll be getting a bra on lol….xx

I just cant wait for real bra and matching sets of underwear and no chicken fillets. I cant really believe its done and im addicted to this because its all i have to talk about! xx

cb, Im 5’6, 9 stone 12 ish, was barely a 34a had 340 unders 17 days ago at manchester lifestyle with Dr Traynor. Im from newcastle so got transport down, lovely bmw with leather seats, admin time was 12, Op was about ten to 2 and i stayed over night. All the nurses and other staff were lovely! Cant fault them. Was mostly scared for the anesthetic but it was a breeze i barely felt the needle. Woke up and was crying, totally overwhelmed, Pain and stiff for the first few nights and unable to lift my arms up but by a week later id been to the pics and done some shopping to get out of the house, Went back to work yesterday and was ok just refusing to lift any heavy boxes or anything. I couldnt be happier! im in now pain now just the occasional twitch and twinge and my new assets are settleing well and the scars are so neat! Hope that helps a bit i dont know how many BA stories ive read now even after my op but all the insight is so good.

6 weeks! Really! That isn’t going to happen! I didn’t even wait that long after having kids!! lol….

Good to hear all went well for you Caitlin. I have my op on Weds in Manchester, 2 days to go and I’m really excited. Can I ask what size you are now? I am also bearly a 34a and I’m having 380 unders – I want to be atleast a big c / small d so not sure whether to go for the 410s. Thought with us being the same before size I could get and idea from what you achieved from the 340s thanks Tracey x

Ahh, Well i tried on a 34c sports bra and that just about fit, but i havent been measured properly. I think with 380’s you will get a big c/small d. In a way i wish id maybe got 380’s. But then i thought if they looked too big i cant go back where as with 340’s and a proper bra i can look how i want. 410s i think would deffinately give you a good D. kirstyd you should wait untill your ready to have sex hunnie. ur fella should be fine with that! i no 6weeks feels like ages tho!!! just try forplay stuff like that! im only one day post op and feeling sick atm hoping things will perk up soon lol! the worst thing is not being able to have cuddles frm my bf and my nephew

ok cool lol sorry hope i didnt offend hun, its really annoying for me atm, i cant even cuddle my boyfriend i have this huge roll of tape and bandage between my boobs which keep getting in the way even clothes and sports bra get in the way!!! xxx

The morning after the night before!

Went well ladies. No pain a bit discomfort when moving around and im a bit achey today. But all in all a success xx

Girls… I could not help but worry! I will be having mine on the 11th Aug… should I promise daily until the day of BA? LOL… Well, I guessed it would be worth the wait for the hubbies and boyfriends because they will soon have bigger to grab 😳

Im 3 weeks post op on thursday. Took me a while to get over my self consiousness that im so used to, but after the “there amazing” comment i got right into the swing of things HA! xx
