Shooting pain in scar help please girls xx 10 wks post op

Hey girls am 10 wks post op scars seem to be healing really well been using bio oil from 6 week check up. Yesterday and today been having sharp sort of stinging or like shooting pains in my left scar. Have Amy of you girls experienced this??? Help be mug appreciated ladies and I have pics in my album if you want to see xxxx

Yes i have the pains 2 hun only had my op wendesday are they like tiny electric shocks now an again?xx

Hi I’m 2 weeks post op and I am getting the same on the left side. I thinks its just part of healing. x x

hi hun i had my op on wednesady and i’ve had shooting pains in both scars.i think its just part of the healing process.if ur concerned give ur nurse a ring she will put your mind at ease.xx

slightly different, but hope it helps…I had an incision on my face to remove a mole and had to have 4 stitches, inside and out…I had shooting pains for a few weeks after..they told me it was something to do with the nerve endings in the scar tissue and totally normal..im expecting the same when i have my BA xx might be a good idea just to get some reassurance from your PC though hun xx

hey hun, im 4 months post op and had a stinging/burning/electric shock kinda feel in my left scar and it was really tender to touch. i rang my nurse i was really worried. i cudnt explain the pain at all tho i new it werent the same kind of ‘shooting pains’ that id had for months which were jst the nerve endings healing, which u r told u can get for up to a year!

bt anyway i went to c my nurse n she sed it was probably nothing to worry about as it didnt look like the start of infection. bt just to bathe my scar and keep it clean and not wear wired bras until it went down. so that was last thursday and its a lot better now. nurse sed it cud have been something that just irritated it as its still healing. sorry for goin on, i jst really panicked last wk! so dont worry! all part of the healing process jst strange wen u get a different feelin u havent had before xx
