Had my BA yesterday with Dr Singh. My admission time was 9am and didn’t leave Fritzroy until 8pm 🙁 i think i had a bad reaction to the general and was constantly being sick and had the sweats! It didn’t help that my room was 100 degrees either but the nurses eventually brought me a fan. If it was up to them they probably would of had me stay the night but i really just wanted to get home. It was mad how much better i felt as soon as i got outside and felt a lot more cooler so glad im SO glad i left. They discharged me with anti biotics and paracetamol. I had to ask about the co-codamol because id seen a few people post about them on here, but they told me they didn’t have any in stock! so my mum went and had to buy me some this morning which to be honest i wasn’t really happy about after spending all that money, the least they could do is have the right post op medication there.
I ended up having 350cc partials, he decided to go with the partials rather than overs during surgery because before he didnt think my muscle would of been strong enough but it was! so i’m very pleased about that because now ill have more of a natural slope 🙂 They seem to be a perfect size, i’m so glad i went for the bigger option, but they do have a lot of dropping to do so ill upload some pics soon as they dont look too pretty haha!
this morning my left boob has no sensation, shooting pains and sometimes i can almost hear and feel air bubbles?? is this normal? my right boob is completely fine i even have sensation in my nipple 🙂 over all I was pleased with my day yesterday especially pleased with Dr. Singh and my anaesthetist who were both lovely!

I got some co-codamol too from the pharmacy but I found it gave me some violent cold shivers. So only took if twice.

As for the noises, I have heard similar cases. Ask the nurse though.

I too only got paracetamol and ibrufen, I agree after paying out all that money you expect the best aftercare, I called my gp day one of my recovery and they made me out a prescription for stronger meds, I too have the noises almost like belly rumbles in my boobs and have no sensation at all in one nipple! How are you doing with recovery? Ixx

yeah definately! I definately expected stronger meds than paracetamols. I was like you take these when you get a headache not after youve had an operation. I’ve been taking coodamol, ibroufen and Arnica tablets and I feel completely fine. dreading going sleep sitting up again tonight tho.. yess!! that’s exact sounds I’ve been hearing haha, they’re completely normal, our body will obsorb them in a couple of days 🙂 how are you doing?? xx

I was exactly the same after I come around & went straight home to bed but the following day was much better! Hope you’re feeling well today babe. I was taking aaugmentin, fenactol & paracetamol & that’s all I was given so managed to get my hands on tramadol although they made me feel worse the following day haha I didn’t one sleep dead upright & did get some herbal nytols to make me drop off, hope this helps & hope you find it easier tonight! Xx
