should i get savalon spray??

hey all got my op on wed, just wondering if u recommend getting the savalon spray thingy and when can you start using it?

thanks and will i need anything else other than pillow and bra??

yes, the wound wash is awesome. Start using it when you are allowed to shower fully and then fully dry the scars with a hairdryer on low setting. xxx

It’s a wound wash spray. You dont have to have it. For me it was a no brainer, I am washing in non sterile tap water and drying myself with a towel thats been sat in my airing cupboard…. xxx

they also do a bottle, u add a tiny bit to ur bath water (if u bath not shower) just to sterilise the water and also clean the wounds. i used it with my piercings .. found the spray to strong for my skin, it would dry out and go really blotchy and itch massively as i have sensitive skin. xx

thanks for replying girls thats great im going to get some in the morning! only 3 more days to go i might get the wash too because my skin gets really dry easily especially with new creams etc.. can u buy them both from boots? or jsut a normal chemist?

I’m 9 weeks post op tomorrow and still use it tWice a day be careful tho as mine ran and ended up with a sore under boob but its all ok now x x

do you spray it directly onto the wonunds? xx

yes hun, just a light spray and it stops any bacteria.
