Hi all, I am booked in for my op 9th July. I would ideally like to lose around another 5-7lb before my wedding next year and was advised by my surgeons PA to try and lose it before I have the op as it may affect the shape of them slightly if I lose it post-op.
However I had to book my op for a lot sooner than I thought as with 2 little kids I had to plan it around my fiance & mum (who are helping out) and this is the only date for a long time where the op and recovery period wouldn’t clash with anything.
How important do you think it is to try and lose some more weight before then?
I’m going on holiday tomorrow for 2 weeks so it may not be as easy as I hope anyway but at least I can have a better idea of how strict I should be.
Thanks for any advice girls 🙂

I’ve been trying for a month but I’ve actually put a few pounds on annoying haha! So I’ve kinda accepted I’m probs going to stay around the 9 stone mark! More worried if I lost quite abit had them done then went back to my normal weight lol! But I wouldn’t worry too much that’s not much you want to lose so I doubt it would have that much effect on your boobies 🙂 xx

Yeah I’m the same Kate. My weight yo-yos between 9st10 and 10st but ideally would like to be around 9st5/6. But then I keep thinking if I pushed myself really hard and lost a bit more weight maybe my body is naturally meant to just be around the weight I am now and then I’d put it back on quick and would change the shape of my new boobs anyway lol.
When are you having your op? x

If your only wanting to lose pounds in my opinion it won’t effect them but if it’s obviously like a stone or 2 then yeah it more likely will, iv been going on my bike etc ever since iv been able to after my op and I must of lost pounds etc (I haven’t weighed myself) andy boobs still look exactly the same! So I wouldn’t worry only if your wanting to loose a good 2 stone x

I think ul be fine losing it now but its a while before ur wedding so u cud end up gaining it again by then. Mine yo-yos too & iv apparantly gained a stone in 6 weeks according to my scales!! (think there lying haha) but in tall so can get away with a stone on or a stone off without being able to notice much difference. I would just go away.. Enjoy ur holiday. Don’t think about it then once uv had it done just cut all the junk out ur diet & eat healthy. I wouldn’t worry to much Hun. Its not alot to lose. Xx
kate i tried & tried to quit smoking but failed miserably!! Haha xx

I lost weight before I had mine done and strangely now I way even less then I did before having my boobs done so don’t worry to much my surgeon said its ok to loose weight after you have them done as long as its not an extreme weight loss; you have to also bare in mine after you have them done you cant go to the gym for 6 weeks so your bound to not feel your best don’t put to much pressure on your self just try eat little often and keep it healthy x x

Thanks girls thats really reassuring! I already know I will be eating so much healthier post op anyway as I’m a bit of a gym freak at the minute and if I can’t exercise for 6 weeks I will feel the size of a house. One of the main reasons I want to get them done as soon as possible as I know that I will then have a lot of time to get to where I want to be afterwards. Whereas if I waited until when I originally thought I’d have them done (October) then I wouldn’t be able to exercise again till after xmas (and lets face it that whole period is a right-off anyway!) lol.
Ha ha girls quitting smoking must be SO hard! Saying that my fiance quit from about 20 a day to nothing – totally cold turkey but now he smokes again only 2 years later ha ha. Must be me and the kids stressing him out lol x

Well recently one of close friend was also facing such type of problem she was so overweight, and she works at office and hardly give time to exercise. She consulted Nutrient about her diet plan, and nutrient gave me proper deit plan with pure garcinia cambogia extract to daily. Along with diet plan she was advised to start doing exercise for daily at least 1 hour.</p>
