Shouldn't final (6 week) check be with surgeon?

I am scheduled only to see the nurse ?? Mr. K was my surgeon. I am supposed to have 2 check ups after the op – one at 7 days and one at 6 weeks. My 7 day check was with nurse as well. Do i not get to see him again? There are still some things i wanna ask, and not sure of in regards to the shape of them, still some hardness in right etc

NO, nurse at 6wks. Mr t is only one who sees patients at 6wks. U will see mr k at ur 12wk check. X

No one said anything about a 12 week check?? Also, 6 weeks is when u can get measured right?

oh i have a nurse appointment at 6 weeks. the nurse told me i would see mr Traynor 6 weeks after that x x

I seen nurse week one, mr traynor week six, he has discharged me. However i know u do get a 12wk check, 6mnth check and also a yr check. Mr t told me to miss the 12 wk and go for my 6mnths and my yr checks.

U def see ur surgeon at 12wks dont worry xx

Hun you should see Mr K at 12 weeks and then a year. 6 week check is just with the nurse and yes you can get measured after that xx

Im 6 weeks post op 2day nd I havnt been contacted about my 6 week check. I didnt realise you see your surgeon at 12 weeks either. I dont mind it but ive got 2 spend 4hrs on a train there and then back again x

Lauren your nurse should have made your 6 week appt at your 1 week check, give them a ring. Why have you got to travel 4 hours? Can’t you see your surgeon at your local MYA? x

Yeah I’ve had my appointment for 6 week check since the 1 week one, then they sent a reminder a couple of weeks ago too. Give them a ring hun x

The nurse said she would ring me she couldnt book me in at the time dont remember why.

Sammy Ive got 2 travel that far coz I live in Cornwall and the closest clinic is in Bristol x
