I had my op on the 23rd November. A d I’m struggling with not being able to shower already! When is the earliest we can shower and can we put on deodrant?

    Hi Jenna,
Showering depends on how you are healing (: yes you can put deodorant on and baby wipe your top half. It was suggested to me to have a lower body bath but I wouldn’t want to get stuck in the bath so for the first week I’ve showered my lower body in the shower whilst keeping my bra on, going up to my belly button. I got the all clear yesterday at my one week post op appointment to have a full body shower as they have covered my incisions with waterproof plasters (: I wasn’t expecting to be able to have a full body shower for another week, so I was shocked yesterday when I got the all clear (: xx

Aw brill thank you for that. Atleast I can put deodrant on and have a shower bath then. Thoughbim not surenhow on would geybout as my top half is pretty much on shut down. How are you feeling now? I’m feeling ok but the back pain is killing me, know I know why I am a side sleeper! Xxx
