Showering??

Got my 2 week check on Thursday, will I get all clear. To shower? Xx

Oh god I have my 1 week check up tomorrow I was expecting to be able to have a shower after that I hate it! Xx

I was given the all clear at 1 week post op when I got strapping taken off as long as I patted incisions dry with a towel it was fine. If everything’s okay then at 2 weeks I’m sure nurse will give the all clear and give you instructions such as making sure you dry your incisions with a clean towel etc.

You should be good to go at 2 weeks, just pop water proof dressings over the incision before you shower, take it off when you get out and gently pat dry, no creams/lotions ect on them until 6 weeks PO hope this helps!

Just had my 2 week check today x she cut the end stitches and told me I can have shower in 2 days time x cant wait x

I’ve been able to shower since 1 week post op so no doubt you be getting the all clear at 2week xx
