Showering after steri strips are removed

Hey ladies, i’m 14 days post op so i removed my little steri strips today, was just wondering when i shower and i use products do i need to still cover my scars or will they be ok now? xxxxx

When I met win my nurse at week 1 she said to keep products away from the area until the scars are fully healed and just allow the water run off ur boobs.

I wouldnt wanna risk getting soap or anything in them and maybe causing an infection by putting alot soap or shower gel on. I’ve been using the tiniest little amount on the tops of my boobs and kind of leaning forward Into the water to rinse x

ive not used any products at all on mine, i let the water run all over them, then when i’m out the shower i run a antibacterial wipe all over the breast including the scars, let it air dry then put a clean bra on, seems to have worked and my scars are looking brill xx (I’m 5 weeks post op) x
