Sick notes??

Hi can anybody help me please.. I’m wondering about time off work etc my pc said I will get a sick note is this correct as I don’t think I have any holidays left op is the 29th and it’s just crossed my mind now xx

I told my employer that i was going for a procedure and i would be off sick for a week… then i just got sick notes from my gps. MYA do not give you a sick note. What they do give you is a letter about your procedure to give to your dr. I asked my dr to just put surgery on it and not BA as i dont want my employers knowing my personal details. Xxx

Omg my pc said I would get one will the doctor definitely give me one them? Xx

I was told also that they can give you a sick note so I would defo call them on Monday and check

Aww Donna don’t worry you will be okay, I’ve got my little girl and if I thought anything terrible would happen I wouldn’t go ahead, they do this all day every day so just look forward to joining the big T committee lol… what date are you booked in again ? ,

Only a Dr can give you a sick note, Not a nurse. I was told no and that i would have to go to my GP. I didn’t actually see my GP. I dropped the paperwork off at thw surgery that the hospital staff gave me on the day of surgery and he went off that for my sick note. I also asked him just to out surgery on as didn’t want them knowing personal details. If you are paid sick pay you do not need a sixk note for your first week.
