SICKNOTE!!!

Do they give u this at the hosp when u have ur BA?

not usually. I know someone that got one 2 weeks after because of infection. BA is voluntary surgery so there not usually given.

I need one so work will pay me for the time off. MYA said they wud get me one but wrote me a letter instead – NIGHTMARE!!!!!

well if i could have got a sick note for having my BA i wouldnt have taken 2 weeks off work as holiday! Especially since my original op date got cancelled!

Awww jojo i really researched it and my HR dept said if i provide a sicknote the co CANNOT question what procedure i have had.

I am also a co car driver – therfore the co car insurance will not insure me to drive.

oh well, at least i’ll know for next time and it also gives the other girls on here a heads up! Good work Cuks!

Aww Jojo thanx…… I was determined i was not taking the time off as holiday. I initially booked as hol then started talking to my HR dept and the advised me.

I only have 4 days sick at full pay and the rest is managers discretion – however if i cant drive i cant work.

Tell you still in debate with my bitch boss about being paid – but told her if she dont pay me it will go to grievance.

i just got a sick note from my gp for two weeks off from the 18th…she just put surgery on the note so they dont know what its for

I also got a sick note for 2 weeks from my ps you just have to ask and they just write surgery on it and no employer can argue with a sick note! xx

Yeh just go to your GP and say your not ready to go back to work and he/she will sign you off. ive got another week x

I took a weeks holiday,but didnt feel comfy going back with stitches in,i worked with vulnerable adults and sometimes they kick off,so I got a weeks sick note of the doctor,he just put surgery related on it,xxx

At rochdale after my surgery they asked me if I wanted a sick note but I had already booked holidays xx

Dr Traynor wrote me a leter after surgery x oh i do love him

I also got my gp to write me a sicknote to for 2 weeks xx
