Hi everyone. I’m 10 days since i had my surgery. Feel perfect and really happy with the way they turned out so far. Just the scars, they don’t look nice and it’s doing my head in. How quick did you after the op start using silicon patches or cream to minimize scars?

You can’t put anything on your scars at all for six weeks. But really don’t worry at all hun because i think everyone’s scars are lumpy and look gross for a while after, mine only started getting smoother and neater about a week and a half ago. Now they’re just a neat red line xx

I don’t think they will be ugly but you will need to have them covered at all times- they don’t like uv too much x

wen i saw my nurse at 3wks she told me my scars had healed fab and i could start using my scar sheets, so i did every day n im now 6months post op and my scars look fab! i go on hol every 6wks so stil keep my scars covered with the scar sheets, but yea make sure you protect them well with sun cream, i burnt all over the first time, cz its like baby skin! v painful :( xx

ther definitely worth buying! i couldnt recommend them more! and the sheets are supposed to be better for these kind of scars as they wil stay in place for a longer amount of time aswel. i have mine on for 12-24 hours a day xx
