I think this is very useless recovery info and i remember someone asking for clarification on what works better so here you go

‘Here is a list of our top recommendations for minimizing scars:

    Silicone Gels & Sheets

Silicone gels, creams and adhesive silicone sheets promote scar reduction and make your scar less noticeable. These products can reduce, flatten, and soften the scar size, thickness, height, and color of all types of new and old scars, post-surgery scars, keloids, hypertrophic scars, and scars caused by injury, trauma, and burns.

Silicone scar products help reduce scar appearance by forming a protective barrier over the skin surface, increasing hydration, pressure, and oxygen tension, and maintaining the skin’s moisture.

Silicone gels are recommended for areas that are visible to the eye and places where a sheet is not convenient to use. Self-adhesive silicone sheets come in various shapes and sizes and can stick to any body area. Sheets offer the added advantage of putting pressure on the scar, which benefits scar reduction. These gels and sheets should only be applied after wounds have fully closed’

    hope it helps

i’ll deffo let you know, i really hope it’s nothing too. don’t want to have to deal with an infection or anything serious! i’ve taken my bra off and just letting them breathe, to be honest they look fine and dont feel funny, just itchy. you can use the scar sheets from 6 weeks onwards. some use it at 4 weeks but check with your nurse. your scar has to be fully closed before you use them xx

Hey girls just thought id mention that you should not use the above until after the 6 week mark as the moist environment that’s created as a result will promote infection if the incision is’nt fully healed, even after the 6 week mark i’d check with the nurse first xx

I’ve got the 20×30 sheets too, i’ll use quite a bit as i had uplift but still wonder if i’ll have some spare! I cant wait to have my 6wks check (only 17days po) and see if nurse says its ok to use. I might test it out on the scar on my arm. xx
