single mums with young kids 6-12months old

hi girls, got a question for you, are any of you single parents with young babies around 8 months or over? if so can you tell me if you were able to lift your little ones after 2 weeks post op? x

Hi lunz28, I have a 1 and 3 year old. Im almost 1 week post op, getting my staples out and dressings changed tomorrow and hoping to be lifting my little ones soon. I will let you know how I get on!

Hi Lynz, i’m not a single mum but i do have a 16mth old and when my hubby goes back to work at 2wks post op i’ll have to do everything as he works 9am-10pm.

I’m 9days post op after uplift and ba and have been able to lift him out in and out of cot since around 5or6days post op tho i try to get my hubby to do it so am hoping that at 2wks post op i’ll be fine to do it all myself. x

thanx sam, im hoping to book my surgery for the 4th april which is when the schools break off for the easter hols so if the 4th april is available then it will be just under 7weeks till im in the boobie club wooooooooooo guna ring 2moro and book hehe keep ur fingers crossed for me that 4th april is available girls!!!!!

I have 14mnth old twins!! I was lifting them after 6 days but I’m 15days post op now and still can’t carry!! Not because of pain but my (.)(.) are in the way & I haven’t had any cuddles with them!!! It’s been hard and my hubby has done most!! I think u will need help for approximate 6-7 days! But I have twins so it may have seemed harder and they were full of cold and up a lot through night!!!! kirsties- thats very reassuring hun thank u if u can do it with twins then i should be ok after 2 weeks with a 10 month old .

well ive just text my pc and asked if i can book for the 4th april and she text back saying she will check tomorrow and let me know asap ooooo i dont wanna get my hopes up but im so excited lol i need sumthin to look forward to after all the crap iv had to deal with over the past few weeks lol xx

Hi girls, Ive got a 6 month and 13 year old so hopefully having mine done in the 2 week school hols as my big girl will help me aswell as my mum… I Have a fiance but he would let me carry on as normal if I was left with him!!… No one has said about taking these stitches out, is that painful?? x

Summer – it felt like a sting when my stitches were taken out… Just like the scratch u feel with an injection!!!

Thats the bit Im dreading the most, How stupid is that!!!

ive been told by my surgeon that he only uses stitches internally and glue externally so hopefully i wont av to av them removed xxx oooooooo i wish karen wud let me know if 4th april is available lol my belly keeps doing backflips x
