Today I am exactly 6 weeks post op… Bored with nothing to do I decided to venture into town to get measured for a 3rd and final opinion. I had previously been measured as 32ff in debenhams and 34dd at ann summers (ann summers don’t measure they just go by eye) … So quite a difference, at the time I bought a couple of 34dd bras from ann summers as I was in disbelief that I was a 32ff as boobs do not look/ feel that big to me! but I wore ann sumers bra for a day and it felt awful! The back ended rising up my back and nipples hanging over the cups! So i went to debenhams and saw a completely different woman from last time and she measured me as a 32f ! I showed her the ann summers bras I previously bought and tried them on for her and she pointed out how wrong the size of the back and cups were… So I took them back /-: I Still can’t believe I am a 32f!! And did worry about not being able to find nice looking bras in that size, but I did find some lovely bras in m&s at a good price too! Pics and prices added on my profile…. Really Sorry if I’ve gone on a bit! Has anyone else experienced sizing confusion? X

You find if you drop a back size go down to 30 and go a cup that 30FF will fit too xx

I was measured a 27G at Victoria’s secret. My boobs don’t look that big. 30E and 32DD bras from M&S fit me well, and I’ve found that 34DD bras from primark are a good fit too. I was in primark yesterday and I tried on a 34D extra padded bra, which seemed way too big. This confused me a little bit. I think I’ll go to bravissimo next and see what size I’ll be. xxx

Thanks girls @mush78 @fionajsd @sharksaub00bage I must admit I did have fun looking for new bras but I still have the habit of squeezing the cups of each bra I look at to see how much padding is in the cup! It’s so funny as I always used to do that before when I was a 34b as I knew the less padding the worse the bra would make me look lol! And I still have that thought mentally installed except it is virtually impossible now to find heavily padded bras past a d cup… so I guess I had better get used to the fact I should no longer need heavy padded bras lol! Xxx

@lisa247 I had the same thing, mine don’t look absolutely massive yet I got measured in Boux Avenue as a 32F! Unexpected surprise 🙂 Getting fitted post op made me realise that I probably should have been in a 32b rather than a 34a pre op. I went round the shop squeezing the cups too lol and was like nah that one is way too padded.

That white bra is gorgeous btw!
