    Hiya girls. Hope everyone is well, I was just wondering when I can stop sleeping upright? It’s doing my head in now, just want to lie on my side LOL x x x

    After a couple of weeks you can try sleeping on your side (check with nurse as that’s what mine said but you never know). It all depends on how comfortable you are though. I am a side sleeper, but even now i find it a bit uncomfortable and have to go back to being on my back, slightly upright xx

    After a week you can start to lay flatter in bed and if it’s comfortable to do so on your side. Don’t push it, just do what feels ok. That was the worst bit i think, sleeping bolt upright, i hated it!!

    Thank god i can finally sleep however i like on my front and everything – never thought i’d be able to do that again! xx

    I feel exactly the same twinkles2 lol There r times when im just dying to lye on my side but then im scared if I sleep like that my boobs will end up wonky haha a V pillow is meant to help. You can get it from poundstretcher for 7quid i think. I cant wait for that day to sleep on my stomach, thats if my boobs aint gna b too much in the way haha x

    Is it ok that I slept flat on my back last night two days after op. I’m feeling guiltynow. Have I done damage?

    I would try sleep upright until you at least see the nurse for post op check hun,xxx

    They just advise that you sleep upright,never did ask why,dont think you should panic,just try to keep upright,until your told otherwise.xxx

    Think they should start a discount scheme with MYA 10% off or something – bit like Macom

    They advise that you sit up,to keep the chest immobile,avoiding turning on your side,because the pocket is new they dont want the implant to become displaced.xxx
