If you’ve just had them done then yes you have to it’s a bloody nightmare but get a v pillow and some extra cushions around you as this helps can’t remember how long for though maybe first week?? Then you can lie on your back but not on sides sorry I can’t remember how long for think it may be 6 weeks I just panicked incase I squashed them out there pockets so waited as long as I could xx Sam xx
Charlie, YES or you will have some swelling! It is uncomfortable but it will help with the healing, as the time goes by you will slowly go down to your back when you feel comfortable enough. You will sleeping on your side before you know it! When is your operation?
Hello I had them done yesterday so swollen and sore not slept a wink been upright now struggling to breath!! But am loving them xxx
def should sleep on your back – im coming up 6 weeks and just starting to sleep a bit on my side now – didn’t feel comfortable to do so before xx v pillow is the best though xx
think they say upright – i didn’t sit completely upright, just used my v pillow for support, but i kept sliding down the bed and ending up flat lol xx

Same here Charlie, I look pregnant and my back hurts from sleeping half up. Will be worth it though

Not coped at all! Tonsillitis too, get about 3-4 broken hours a night, I’m like the walking dead, can’t wait to sleep on side
