    Girls.
When did you start sleeping at less of an angle post op?
I’m 2WPO this coming Tuesday and experiencing major numb-bum sleeping upright! Dying to start sleeping in a more normal position!

You might be best to check with your surgeon Hun as heard different people saying different things! My surgeon told me at 2wpo that I was fine to sleep flat or on my side. However I’ve tried a couple of times sleeping without my v pillow propped up on other pillows and both times ended up grabbing it in the night as I wasn’t sleeping well without it. So last night I chose again to sleep slightly propped up with the v pillow as was more comfortable that way! Hopefully I’ll be back to normal sleeping soon (17dpo) Might be worth calling though and seeing what his advice is xx

@clare141 thanks lovely. In that case I’ll double check with my nurse etc just to be sure! Thank you though xxx

@alicesandells Yeah best to check. It’s funny because in the first week I was absolutely fed up of sleeping on my back, was in agony etc and couldn’t wait for the go ahead for sleeping normally… now I have it I can’t! I think part of me is worried about if I hurt myself though so not even contemplating side sleeping at the moment as I think my boobs would hurt?! Xx

I’ve been sleep on my back since 1wpo, I still find I prop myself up in the nights at times but I think that’s because lying on my side is uncomfortable so I’m seeking a more comfortable position. As said though, speak with your nurse. Seems like the best option

@clare141 haha always the way isn’t it! It’s so typical.
Seems as though everyone has a different look on it so I’ll definitely speak to my nurse today and see what she says! Definitely don’t feel ready to be sleeping on my side that’s for sure xxx

@gemsehguh @janemarie1983 thanks for the advice girls. Really does seem as though everyone’s different just from the comments. Fingers crossed I’ll get given the go ahead to sleep normally from tonight onwards x
