Sleeping tips pls :) Started by: Anonymous

    So I’m 1 day PO first night sleep was horrible.. Not having pain just sore/ stiff and uncomfy. I changed from my bed to the spare bed last night as it is firmer but in the end I came and slept on the chair in the lounge for 3 hours 🙁 so far I’m feeling great but just hope the sleep each night gets better I hate sleeping elevated to start with lol no pain no gain., this isn’t a moan as obviously this is spaced I just wondered how other people got on and any tips it was mainly my back aching and it’s so hard to keep shuffling round. X

    Hiya hun, glad to hear everything is going ok for you.
    I slept on my corner sofa which was a lot easier, I propped pillows all around me, round the sides and under my bum and also used my V pillow. This was a lot better than sleeping in bed, plus I didn’t trust my husband not to grab them (by accident of course) or something in the middle of the night, lol 🙂 xx

    Yes I was the same haha I was scared of my husband moving his arm and whacking me one haha,, brill I’m defo going to be sleeping downstairs for a few nights.. No pain no gain haha. Sorry to hear your a bit slower that would like on recovery but won’t be long till you are and you want to make sure everything is good 🙂 xx

    Hey Hun. Try putting a cushion under your knees. It helps with the posture of your back. Hopefully will stop the back ache for you xx

    Hey huni have got a v-pillow and buy a long shape sausage pillow to this for under your Knees helps stop u slipping down and stop s most of the back ace like D said this help me a lot two years ago xx

    Thanks Hun 🙂 I have a v pillow I think because I’ve already hurt my back now it’s just so uncomfy however I sit. I can’t wait to get all snugly in bed lol x
