Sophie you could have trapped wind that’s whst I had till day 3-4 and it was agony in top of my back. Try putting a pillow or 2 under your knees it takes pressure off your back.
I have only just at 3 weeks post op started sleeping in my side for a few hours at a time.
    It does get easier x

Hey huni 1st round 2013 with uplift / implants was killer I had to sleep upright for 8 weeks so for me Amy is right I used a long big sausage pillow for under legs you should be more comfy and it will help u to stop slipping down too so my 3 rd time round 8 weeks ago I was on my side in week one with my long pillow comes n handy but for you girls u will know when your ready to sleep on your sides xx

I had to sleep upright for nearly 2 weeks the nurse advised me but i was slow healing and 1 of my boobs had flared up.. sleeping upright just helps the swelling id say sleep on a angle for at least a week then ask the nurse if its ok to lay flatter x

Sleeping up right is just to help the swelling. I did it for around 3 and half weeks. Now nearly 6 weeks and as my surgeon said I’m healed I can sleep on my side and wear normal bra’s. . Still wearing sports bras yet they are comfy under winter clothes xx Also been sleeping mix of on my back n my side last 2 weeks x
