sleeping upright

will this get any easier? I had two hours kip at the most last night xxx

Hi Sazzler, I found it hard at first but you get used to it. I used a bean bag and a pillow. I also found waiting until I was really tired before going to bed helped. x xx

Oh good, saying that im so tired after my two hours keep i could probably sleep stood up now !! xxx

Its horrible ennit,Ive got 4pillows 2 v pillows and cushions the painkillers help me sleep i slept well last nite and in the day xx

Yeah the painkillers do help, i managed until three being awake and then called the nurse in for some painkillers and thats when i got about 2 hours kip!! How long are we supposed to sleep upright? Is the co-codamol bloating you? i havent been to the toilet yet (this is very very unlike me!!)xxx

I havent been to the toilet since my op on wendesday hun xx u will get so tired that by tonite u will sleep like a log i think upright for a couple of wks it gets easyer i keep remindin myself not to raise my arms so hard xx

Really!! I just had some fibre gel so ill see how that works!! One thing i dont want with my new puppies is a bloated tummy haha! Yeah its difficult isnt it, like i keep trying to move cushions behind me and im like “ouch”!! xxx

Hi Sazzler, If the Co-codamol is constipating you taking something like latulose will help it takes a day to take affect but is very gentle (can get it at pharmacy in big superdrug and probably boots). 7-10 days sleeping I think. x

I still haven’t been on the toilet since Tuesday now, I’ve had senekot, and sum other tablets sum1 gave me still not worked, mi stomach is nearly bigger than mi boob’s lol xx

lol hush! You can wipe promise! Last time i didn’t go for 5 days!!! This time I took REGUCOL before and after and it has been so easy! You feel the need and plop! Done! No messiness like with laxatives…

Honestly ladies get regucol from holland & barrets and take 20grams ( 4 heaped teaspoons) with a glass of juice a day! it really cleans out the bowels and you feel amazing!! xx

Wow!! I think i will try the regucol then. Also, my boobs feel huge, ive had 340 unders, should i not be judging them on day 2? xxx

sazzler if my example is anything to go by then ur just gunna get bigger hunni lol! im still fluffing at 15days post op lol but then again you will still have swelling for a while also xxx

Omg I hope mIne don’t get any bigger!!! I’ve had 380 unders and in clothes they look ridiculous right now… 3 days post op… Tell me they’ll settle lower and closer together?????!!!!!!

I hope mine dont get bigger too! Everyone is different i suppose but lots of girls just seem to get more rounded and lower like you say xxx

does anyone know how long the swelling is likely to stay for? I’m dying to know how big my boobies are likely to stay…x

I found the painkillers knocked me out and after taking them I was asleep within half hour… I stopped taking mine after 2 days as they made me feel sick so I only went to bed when I was so tired! It does get easier and you get used to sleeping upright, just put as many pillows as you can behind you as I ended up with back ache lol! MY bf ended up with no pillows haha!

It does get better and I didn’t go to the toilet till day 10 or so!

Remember it’s all worth it… I had overs bu I started to soften on day 6 and they started to drop not long after… They are still changing now and I’m 3 weeks on Wednesday. Happy healing everyone xxx
