Hi Ladies! Can anyone tell me how long to you have to sleep in upright position after BA? I’m getting really bad back pains and I’m only day 4 after op 🙁 thanks x
Yeah I have been wondering this too, and what is the necessity of being upright?I dont feel like this was ever really explained? x
I read it firstly reduces swelling, but if you don’t it can affect the implant pocket and how the implant settles x
I had my 7day check up today an nurse said I was fine to stop sleeping upright!so happy I can finally get a good nights sleep 🙂 xx
Upright it is then!! I do keep finding myself sliding down! x
:(( I think this is the worst thing about having the BA, wish I had the hospital bet at home 🙂
It’s took me 7weeks to able to sleep on side without any pain but I have to hug on to a big long pillow so my twins have something to rest on so it all depends your self and if its comfy or not xx
Im 8 days post op and seen nurse yesterday shes told me at least a few more nights upright as I stilll have quite a bit of swelling 🙁 my back is killing me I have a pile of pillows everywhere incase I want to lie down somewhere lol x
I’m just over6 weeks just can’t get comfy on my side either drives me crazy . I’m so used to sleeping upright to. I love the look of wired bras but still wear support bras everyday . Crazy I no . I still have shallow baths too I should just brave up I’m sure I can put soap on them now . But they don’t need it . I love pampering my babies, with this extra care .lol. Spoilt little brats . Haha x
Em get a long sausage pillow and cuddle it on your side so the twins have something to rest on works a treat for me and tequila get two pillows and put them under your knees stops you from sliding down when your sleeping x
Have you got a good sports bra where they don’t move on side ? When your cuddling your long pillow put one leg over it like you would cuddling your man x
