Sleeping upright

Hey girlies had my ba9 days ago now, just wondering how long wev got to sleep up right for? It’s driving me mad and giving me horrible back ache xx

I had my op on the 27th, seen the nurse yesterday and I asked, i can’t remember exactly what her words were but the gist was any time from now, whenever I feel ready. I’m having another few nights of sleeping up cos I’m finding it hard pulling myself up!!! xx

Thanx Hun for replying, yeh same I had mine the 27th, I know wat u mean I haven’t actuali tried lying down flat yet as don’t think I’ll be able to pull myself up very easily lol. So think il leave it a couple more nights too. Then do we sleep on our backs or side or do u not think it reali matters? Xx

Hi I had my ba on the 27th too and I saw the nurse today and forgot to ask her cos I’m fed up with sleeping sitting up too my bum is really hurting! Let us know how tonight goes claire xxx

Hey ladies. Have any of you used a v pillow? I’m having surgery on the 25th and wondering which is the best to get? I looked on amazon but the reviews aren’t great! Any help much appreciated and happy healing xx

I’m not sure where mine is from borrowed mine from my mother but so glad I’ve got 1 its been fab, good luck for the 25th x

Hey girls I tried sleeping on my back last nite felt reali good to start with then I woke half way thru the night and ached like mad my boobs were killing, So went bk to sleep sat up.prob just got to get bk used to it. So gonna try again tonite.

Maddie:- I didn’t get a v pillow as dint reali know how it was gng to help so didn’t bother. I use about 5 pillows and put them all over the place so its was nice and comfy and also sit on one as my bum was gettin reali sore from sitting in one place lol xx

Thanks for the tips Lisa! I just ordered a v pillow anyway as I’ve heard they’re good but I will probably want one under my bum too! X

Ordered my V pillow from Dunelm including the pillow case, hope it helps me for my surgery on Wednesday!
