I’m 7 days post opp and I’ve had strapping etc removed today. I feel so much better already and I do love my new additions. I was planning to go back to work this week but honestly i haven’t slept since before my opp. I get an hour here and there when I dose off in front of the TV but getting any sleep in bed at night is getting silly. I’ve tried propping myself up on pillows but it doesn’t seem to work 🙁

Any advice? Im becoming a walking zombie xx

Bless that sound terrible. I find it hard sleeping on my back but I got a V pillow from Argos for £10! Loads of girls recommend it and I have to say its so so comfy! If you haven’t got one do it now!!!! I also only took the co codamal before bed to help knock me out and give me a pain free sleep. Hope it gets better soon x

Have you tried kalms sleeping tablets? I’ve not used them yet but if I continue to have sleepless nights I will, they make you drowsy and everytime I’ve used them I’ve slept the whole night through, worth the try, safest tablets I’ve used, hope you feel better xxx

thats the same as me preeti! I’ve had a fine recovery except the sleeping factor, I feel horrendous with the lack of sleep. I’ve been taking nytol sleeping tablets but theyre only helpful to get you to sleep, so I seem to still be waking up through the night and not being able to get back to sleep. but at least I know i get a couple of hours to start with. I slept ok the 1st 4 nights after the op, but then after that hardly anything so I’ve been going crazy. all the pillows do help but i usually sleep on my front so i’m really stuggling 🙁 I hope you get some good rest soon and i’d definitely get some nytol or other sleeping tablets to get a couple of hours in at least 🙂 xxx

Thanks guys I will definitely get some sleeping tablets. Once you are up in the morning though how do you manage to get out of bed. This morning it took me 30 mins! It’s getting painful I can feel my muscles giving way 🙁 don’t want to keep asking someone to physically get me out of bed each day x

what I was doing was shuffling to the end of the bed and getting one foot on the floor then kind of cradle my boobs and lean out the bed and use my leg muscles to get up! hope that helps 🙂 xx
