Hey ladies, i just had my 6 weeks follow up apointment with my surgeon and im pretty annoyed to be honest, im someone who likes things kept simple but i was in and out of there within 5 minutes and felt like id been shooed out the door before id even sat down! i was asked quickly when my surgery was and what implants did i get she had a two second look and sent me to the door before i could say a word! i had questions i wanted to ask but when i was put in that situation where i was rushed on out not only did i not have a chance but its soo offputting! hate to put a downer on things cause overall mya have been great! One of the questions i wanted to ask is when can i start boxing again, i started doing it before my BA and obviously its high contact and quite tough on the body, does anyone happen to know how long before i can do it again? xxxx

book back in to see your surgeon hun, MYA have an open door policy, so if you feel your questions havent been answered, then go get them answered xx

They say 6 weeks before any vigorous activity. I think it depends on how you feel and your scars but you’re best off calling your PC hun if you’re unhappy, they may suggest another appointment with your surgeon.

I know what you mean though, I do Taekwondo but luckily I’m going back to help teach before I start doing it for myself again. x
