    i having my op next fri and still having the odd fag is this dangerous

    get some patches they may help,some girls have smoked all the way through from posts seen and they were ok,but i think they worry that you may have a bad chest when you wake up from anasthetic if you smoke,and it does slow down the healing process,but the more you stress the more you will smoke,try and replace the cigs with excercise,do a few sit ups,lol,run up and down the stairs a few times,this will put lots of oxygen in your blood,and deep breaths too in through nose out through mouth,hahahaha,youll be so knackered you wont want to smoke,lol.and drink loads of water,xxxx

    Smoking thins the blood and can seriously prolong your healing…i didn’t quit and wish i had…my scars took ages to heal! Its just so hard though, i managed to cut down before my op but afterwards i smoked even more xx

    i quit 3 years before,but i tell you i could have killed for one when i woke up,lol,its really hard and people who have never smoked dont understand,do your best hun,cos you will see the benefits in the healing if your off the cigs,we here to support you,and no one will judge you,x

    im a smoker and i had a lot of trouble with my incision healing, i ended up with wound tension which im told is far more likely with smoking, ive take some pics of it to show the girls on here what it looks like… not pretty try ur hardest to either quit or cut down hun, cuz i didnt :( xx
