Is one cigarette a day a week before your OP a no go? Struggling!!!!! xxxx

Sorry chick I’d say no because nicotine will still be in your system with 1 or 10 cigarettes. Just think of what you will have at the . Go get one of those nicorette inhalators xx

How long before do they say u have to give up. Dont know if im gunna be able to do that haha xx

i think you have to stop 2 weeks before, as it can slow down your healing xx

Its gunna be hard just giving up completly. How long after can u smoke xxx

Think it’s 2 weeks after too…a month off you may aswell give up and would of saved you £££ 😉

I didn’t give up at all (oops) and have healed great but obv people are different. I think it’s if your a really heavy smoker that it can be bad coz it can stop the oxygen getting around properly hense stopping the healing process. X

It’s suppose to be 2 weeks before and 6 weeks after I gave up a week before but that was because there was only 10 days between my first consult with pc to having my ba done xx

Yeah I was told what Jenny’s just said.. I have my electric cig which i’m holding on to with dear life..!! I wondered if they could cancel your op! xxx

I had a cigarette a day right upto my op and have done so since ive healed fine i think its a precaution as it cold slow your healing xx

I will admit… I too, have been smoking. I have CUT BACK… but not stopped completely…
If you have the will power… I would totally advise to do it… but if you’re like me and are weak… I wouldn’t lose sleep over it 🙂 xx
