I cnt stop smoking infact the stress of not being able to stop is making me smoke more lol. Oops xx

Hi you could try out those e shisha pens they are really good intact I bought my dad who smoked 40plus cigs a day for 20+ years and litrally stopped from day one x smoking can thin the blood out, delay healing and cause other problems like cc

I was told to stop smoking 2 weeks before but found it hard I smoked up until the night before my surgery, no one asked me on the day about drinking or smoking.. I didn’t smoke for a week after but mainly because I felt faint and sick and the pain but I’ve started back up again.. Everything’s been ok so far! Good luck I know how hard it is xxx

You can only try Hun, it’s not easy to stop for anything so long as you have have it a good go ou will be fine just try not smoke the day of the op xxx

I smoked up to the day of my surgery and everyday after… only 4/5 a day though.
They discourage smoking because it stops your blood going to the skin surface which slows down healing and makes infection etc more likely, but I had a couple surgeries before and I smoked through them and was fine so did the same with my ba x

Olivia, when were you told you could officially smoke post op as I’m getting such conflicting info from websites but don’t have p.o till Tuesday xx

My nurse told me no smoking 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after x

Ahh, I was going to do try and do 2 so you have really reassured me as yours looks so fab x It’s just so hard as apart of me is so desperate for a ciggy and can’t spend my whole recovery being paranoid but then so many people are saying how dangerous it is! However in moderation and as long it’s cut down then I think it’s all good:) x

Hi ive purchased a electric cigarette can’t believe how good they are not even craving a cigarette so hopefully can pick in smoking altogether. Good luck x
