It’s so hard to pack in smoking before op, has anyone had op and not quit!!!

I have hun. Been almost a month now. I have my op in a week. It’s easy for me because I’m paying a lot of money for it and don’t want anything to go wrong. I was smoking for 10 years too but the first week was the hardest xx

I also found it really hard to quit, My nurse said if not poss to quit alltogether to cut down as much as poss. I’m not a heavy smoker really anyway tbf. I’m 5days post op xx

I cut down a lot and didn’t smoke on the day of my op and my incisions have healed fine 🙂 I’ve got one bruise and hardly any swelling xo

I used an e-cig started with menthol nicotine then swapped to a non nicotine menthol vapour! I have never been able to quit before but it really helped me do it xx

I use a e cig with nicotine i never really stopped using it except op day x

I haven’t stopped, have just cut down and my op is tomorrow, definitely won’t be smoking tomorrow though! x
