    Hey girls! Feel like I need to vent as I’m so freaking annoyed with Mya. At my initial consultation, I booked my consultation with the dr in September, so have been waiting 3 months to meet him and discuss what I want done. Plus, wanted to make sure I was making the right decision cos 5450 is a lotttt of money. After my initial consultation I hadn’t heard anything from Mya, I tried contacting my pc a few times as it was drawing closer to my appointment, and also wanted to discuss the financial side (I was not even told about discount), but no answer. I had booked and paid for my train tickets in advance which was around £70 and was super excited about my appointment which was suppose to be tomorrow. Butttt, surprise surprise….Mya rung me literally a day before my appointment around midday to cancel as the dr had to operate elsewhere. I can not express my dissapointment!! Not only was it last minute cancellation but I lost money because of how disorganised they’ve been!! Surely they should’ve noticed the clash sooner?!! Has anyone else had a problem like this with them? Cos I don’t actually know if I want to proceed with Mya now..

    Im sure when MYA mod see’s this post she will pick up on it straight away,so sorry you feel disappointed,lets hope his can be resolved,they are usually pretty good.xxx

    Yes I think they are not very organised on the appointment system. I had my Pre op and they weren’t even informed that I had my Pre-op , the nurse called me to arrange another appointment by this time I had already had my check up , but no one told the reverent department ……. I had already been luckily I called the head office to sort it out I could of went to 2 pre- op appointments

    I was lucky that I had my Pc appointment, Surgeon Consultation, and pre op the same day,I was travelling quite a distance so in my case I can not fault the service,had my op on 5/12/11,and was given my nurses appointment for the following week,I saw the surgeon at the Holborn clinic,but ill be having nurses appointments in Newcastle so that its not too far for me to travel,I will need to travel to London Or Birmingham for the surgeon follow up,but I dont mind,Im happy to do that,such a shame that in this instance a lack of communication has spoiled your experience,but please don.t let it put you off,because I have used other companies in the past for other cosmetic surgery, and believe me,Mya are far better with their organisation than their competitors.Hope this can be sorted out for you honey,xxx

    Hiya, really sorry to hear about your experiance. It’s a shame as I’ve had such a good experiance with MYA! My pc has been amazing! Always got back to me with in a few hours, when ever I’ve emailed or rung her, she has helped me loads through this process! My surgeon has been fab too.

    I know some girls have had problems with appointments but they r a big company and sometimes things like this happen, its how they handle it from this point on which will show you if you should use them or not.

    If you speak to them I’m sure they can arrange free travel to your next appointment as you lost out on the £70, that’s what they did for my friend.

    The process is such as rollercoaster of emotions, even getting yourself revved up for the pre-op appointments is quite nerve-wracking so I can totally understand your disappointment. I am SURE they will get it sorted out for you, maybe it’s better to have an appointment completely cancelled than trying to squeeze you in or possibly not getting to meet the right person? The surgeon might have had an emergency somewhere to deal with, hence the short notice? Sometimes things happen for a reason, even though it doesn’t seem that way at the time. Good luck. x

    hia hun, sorry to hear about what had happen, i had my ba booked on a certain date and was cancelled to, and i had also booked my train ticket in advanced, how ever i told them this and they said they will refund my money back to me, have you asked them to refund it back for you hun xxx
