So Disappointed in MYA – Last post

The last time i posted on her i was so positive as When I went to see MR Cthe last time he said that he would sort them, I have now been told that this will be at cost to me, I really dont see what the point of the appeals process was as nothing has been achieved, for a fee I could go to any surgeon and get him to sort them. So in total MYA actually has no aftercare unless they CC, or this is the only thing that they are willing to sort out. So all in all I have written three letters and been to 3 consultations for nothing.

There isnt really much that I can do Via MYA now, I have been told that I can write another letter or see mr C and have him tell me the reasons behind me paying again, but this just seems a kind of smoke and mirrors exercise to exhaust me of my time, I am now in the process of contacting other companies for written statements on what they feel I would need to have done etc and then am going to pass them onto my solicitor with my medical records and contract and all correspondence that I have had over the past year.

I would advise all of you ladies to look closer at your contracts as the outcome you have and wether they will re op or not is at the discretion of your surgeon and not you and your feelings. I have been left with an awful pair of saggy disfigured looking boobs and in reality I should of just kept the ones that I had, plastic surgery has literally ruined my life, after 11 years of waiting it was supposed to be the best thing to happen to me and has in fact turned into the worst.

That’s terrible, so sorry to hear that. Were your boobs just not right as soon as you had them done? x

I noticed about 8 weeks after, but he said they would be fine, a year and a half later and they just arent xx

oh rachmum, thats so sad, hope you dont mind me asking but what size were you before and after, did the surgeon say that may happen, did you take the size he suggested?. I have mine 24th jan with dr grob and she says 525 or 460 over, but may be best to do 460 as may have rippling,cc or snoppy dog effect, i thought she just warned everyone and am now worrying that maybe i am too old!

I had 410 overs with dr Chantarasak, he decided on everything, I didnt even realise that you had a choice! I was as a B before and am an E now, I think he has just shoved a larger implant in rather than suggesting an uplift, I now have one boob that literally hangs from the weight and one that is square looking, I feel like I have the rocks in socks effect.

Sharon you are never too old, breast implants can make a huge difference in your life I just seem to of got the rubbish deal xxxx

I am also upset with MYA and wish I’d never had my BA! There’s nothing wrong with my boobs as such they are just not what I asked for size wise and I have been let down by them at all angles. Once they have your money they really couldn’t care less!

Rach hun I think u should take it further & go to a solicitor. It’s unfair how you’ve been treated. If I was u I’d defo take it further xxx

Ohh no, this is not good to hear.. . I have had a touch of the jitters over the last few days as I am having my BA with Mr C. I was matched with him because I may need an uplift and I was told he specialised in using implants to give an uplift without the need for the actual procedure.. Was this the case for you? I don’t want to end up with a much bigger saggier version of what I have now! xxx

He said I have rubbish skin hun, so you should be fine, I wish he would of said an uplift or told me that they could possible look like this but he never, do what’s best for you, everyone is dif and yours could come out perfect, he has rubbish manners but my op itself went perfect and the scars are small xx

My boobs are covered in old silvery stretch marks and the skin on my breasts in crepey when I lay on my side or bend forward from where I have lost so much weight.. I guess that makes my skin rubbish to.. Lol. Maybe I should just ask for an uplift from the off rather than opting for a bigger implant.. Xxxxxx

From reading this does anybody else think he just isnt any good at his job??

If he isnt taking proper care of you ladies you should complain as these decisions you made werent easy and the fact u are now suffering and going to have to pay for it to be corrected isnt on! I have read alot of posts on here about people being unhappy about results from boobs and infections, I think If I am going to gt my boobs done I will go elsewhere

I’m sorry the last reply was short I was attempting to do it from my phone, he was perfect all pre op and even after I had the operation done, It was only when I started raising concerns that things seemed to of changed.

He hadnt even mentioned an uplift and maybe he didnt feel that he had too and my skin was just bad like he said,when I saw Mr Singh he said the same thing and that it doesnt happen to many people I think they just cant hold the weight of the implant.

I am in no way unhappy with the surgery that he did itself it is the aftermath and what has happened to them since then that I am unhappy about and the aftercare. I expect if any surgeon would of done the operation they would of gone the same way.

I think you look at the aftercare policy and believe that if you are unhappy and if they do not look the way that you want/expect then you will be sorted out under that policy which is not the case, it is down to the surgeons discretion.

They aren’t even 50% of what I would of hoped for and If I had been told they would be a bigger version of what I had I wouldn’t of bothered as size was never an issue to me.

If I was you i would go with your gut instincts and what you think is right for you, everyones surgery and results are diff and I have no doubts that yours will be perfect xxxx Maybe just make sure that you are covered if you do end up with a bigger version of what you have now xx

Romani honey I don’t think that its a case of this surgeon not been good at his job,as he has performed literally thousands of procedures and you are seeing just a few complaints on the forum,upsetting for the persons involved. But rachmum has not doubted his skills as a surgeon,her complaints are about other issues honey,as for infections,anyone can get them,we take the greatest care of ourselves in the hope we don’t get an infection but some of us do,it is a risk you take when making the decision to have surgery and although an infection can be unpleasant with the proper medical attention it will clear.xxx

ive had 2 ops wiv dr chantarsak but 3 ops in total, 1st op at transform in 2005 paid £4,000 then in 2008 expierenced a few problems in 1 boob, went bk to transform many of times was not interested fobbed me of sayin scar tissue etc.. then in 2010 it eventually rupputred after noticin an abcess on my boob, went to walk in center was rushed to hospital had fluid drained from boob, went home next day bk in havin an emergency op to get the thing out!!! was in hospital for a week got cut open several times, havin my boob cleaned out and drains inserted. was told by nhs not to have nothin done for 6 months takin in to mind i was still left wiv 1 pip implant in the left boob and nothin in my right. 6 months later went back to transform didnt seem bother about the situation and what ive bin thru, in the end said could take the left 1 out and replace both for a cost of £2,500 which i was then fobbed off that the biggest implant i could have was 300cc and due to pregnancy and infection my boobs had bin streatched quite abit so had alot of excess skin so could of done wiv a bigger implant to get a better result. went bk to transform to moan again at mr chanatarsak was fobbed of with more rubbish so went to MYA cosmetic clinic to get another opnion and seen mr singh he said i could have had up to a 525 to fill out the extra skin so transform lied and fobbed me off yet again, eventually havin surgery wiv mr singh in feb 2012 but costin me another £4,300. hes ruined me and cost me alot of money!!!x

Omg I actually couldn’t believe what I was reading then!! What a horrible thing to go through!! So sorry for you hun. I hope mr Singh gives you the boobs you’ve always wanted!! xxx

Transform have horrendous customer care!

My sis in law has had loads of problems! And now discovered she has pips yet transform want to charge her the price of a full re op to remove and replace!

She had an infection upon leaving the hospital, we live in Newcastle and hospital is in Manchester abby pines or summit and they tried sending her all way from Newcastle to abbey pines when there is a clinic up here! Eventually when she seen a nurse at clinic they rebandaged her and sent her on her way until her SIX week check with an infection!

In the end she ended up in hospital! She needed her boob drained!

She has since had muscle distortion, which they ignored and now she fears its rupture as she has pips xx

just read up on the whole article about the pip implants and is says they have to pay for re-ops n removal of these implants even if they havent caused any damage as of yet x

change surgeons, just say u heard he used pips and fob ppl off cos thats exactly what he does wen it comes to problems, he just throws rubbish at u x

Hun don’t be nervous remember each case is different and your going to see mya not transform!! Your pc will advise who’s best for you to see and will ask you what you want etc so listen to them! Mya would not use bad surgeons sweet so don’t you worry promise I had my 1st BA by a surgeon who I’ve read bad reviews on and I couldn’t fault him, I’ve also read some on Dr singh but didn’t put me off him! Each case is different and non of us are the same as others x x x

I agree with cocolove,the surgeons are the best and they will tailor the service to your individual needs,MYA use the best surgeons,and the best implants,don’t let a couple of bad posts deter you, when literally hundreds of member are totally happy with their results honey.xxx

It was good of rachmum to post this as a warning to everyone. There’s no need for everyone to start jumping in and saying how great their experience was with MYA. Im glad there are lots of happy girls but there are also alot of unhappy girls, including myself and obviously rachmum. I do believe that MYA surgeons are highly skilled but at the end of the day it is the customer service/staff/ps’c which let MYA down as a company – FACT! Surely this is just as important!

I never jumped in thank you very much I think your find me and Tina where just trying to reassure Kate1985 as sometimes I get alarmed about some posts yet I’ve had 2 BAs so for a 1st timer its very daunting and a big step so to try and assure someone and highlight that there is more good than bad is surely a kind thing to do as far as I’m concerned and if you don’t like that…well I don’t really care if you don’t because I’d hope people would try and reassure me WHICH this forum is great for and have done so for me in my panics. Like I expressed previously myself of reading comments of my 2nd BA surgeon a lot of mixed comments on a particular post I found and for me the comments of reassurance stopped my worry to realise its case by case – different for every individual. I understand their are people like yourself and others unhappy, i would find it unbelievable if there wasn’t and I’m sorry your having to go through personal hardship after surgery of course it must be gutting for you all but I have not once said anything that you shouldn’t express this situation u find yourself in have I? NO!! if MYA mod wanted to remove this post and have them all supportive and positive they could, yet they leave these on here. I myself at the moment are also having difficulties with my left boob but yet to complain about MYA simply all I was saying…

thank you girls am sure its just pre nerves and am no were near even getting it done yet lol .. but thank you all for the good and bad positive feed back as tina and coco said each case is diffrent and i cant judge others cases to myn but thank you tracey aswell i do agree that bad feed back is as important as good feed back ..xx

good luck all wat u decide but avoid transform, MYA def better. mr c just not a man of many words and doin the job he do it dont help one bit, ive just had major probs with him ans wat ive bin thru is hard to believe even wen i write it myself, the worse was wen i went to c him wiv 1 implant in and 1 out and all he offered me was a chicken fillet if u ask me thats bang out of order x

hun if you ain’t already on storm I’m sure a girl was giving out solicitor details for girls with PIPS they were basically taking in all cases. I’ve also heard Harley street medical are offering re op for 2400 for girls affected by this, x x x
