So heavy!

Hello, so I’m 8 days post op now, the strapping came off yesterday ?? but I still have stitches in and they won’t be removed till next week :(. Whenever I take my bra off they feel ridiculously heavy and it’s so painful to just let them loose… is that normal? Will it ever go away? I keep needing to hold them or it absolutely kills 🙁 x

Mine feel like weights strapped to my chest even with my compression bra on haha! Don’t worry, my cousin has had her boobs done 3 yrs ago and told me the feeling does go away – we just have to be patient x

Hi Hun, think it’s completely normal, I had mine done 3 weeks ago, and they still feel really strange when there loose, not painful but almost feel like I can’t control them lol when I have a shower, the pain does get easier just hang in ther x x x

Hi , I ‘m 2 and a half weeks post op and I having the same feelings as you , Angela . I only take off my sports bra when I have a shower … It feels peculiar when I don’t have my bra on , my boobs feel heavy , I feel like I can’t wait to put them back in my sports bra …Maybe it’s because I’m not use to my new boobs.

I do wonder why that happens! My nurse told me to stop holding them, because they are not going anywhere, but I can’t help it… I feel like my skin is going to rip open and the implant will fall out whenever I don’t wear a bra! They don’t feel anywhere near as heavy now (with a bra on I mean) as they did at first, which is nice! But once the bra comes off – which doesn’t happen often- that is it, I’m in agony! I almost passed out yesterday when I went to wrap a towel around them, all I felt was excruciating pain going through both boobs! x

Hi girls im 13 weeks post op and mine still feel pretty heavy when i take my bra off it is getting easier tho i think it takes a while for the muscles to adjust. I stil couldnt imagine sleeping without a bra xx

I’m 5 weeks post op and I can’t wait to get my sports bra back on whenever I take it off either! Lol I’m the same I hold mine and hate putting any kind of pressure on them even the towel like you said I wrap so loosely over them haha xx

Thank You both for replying! I guess I just have to be more patient :(. Do you think we’ll ever be able to walk around without a sports bra on? I will be devastated if I can’t! xxx
