So scared of the getting put to sleep!

Girls, call me mad but i’m terrified of the walking to the room you get put to sleep and of the injection anyone else feeling the same x

Of cause hun thats completely normal everybody feels like That xx

last time i was put to sleep for an op i cried my eyes out beforehand up until i fell asleep xx

Me too i was sooo scared, just of the needle more than anything else lol glad to kno i am not alone xxx

im scared to hun… i have op done next month..

I was really nervous but theres nothing to worry about. They anestetist will ask you questions and general chat to keep you occupied, then all of a sudden you feel woozy then the next thing i knew it was an hour later and i was waking up all dazed. Like a weird dream. x

was u sick farrah when u came round and sore thoart and any pain.. be gd if u could add me..

i didnt have a sore throat, but i was sick, i only managed to eat one peice of toast in about 2 days. I was gutted because he food looked so nice. I will add you now.

I didnt even know that they were putting me to sleep, he told me it was antibiotics which i kno they do give u but he told me it was 2sets he had to put in and i feel asleep totally unaware i was gunna go! lol x

hope they do that to me then sandy coz i will cry cry..lol add me hun how long are u now from post op

just think about this… you fall asleep every night for a lot longer… nod off on the sofa etc. just go in there and imagine that they are just taking bloods…. you will just fall asleep and not even know it. i was awake during my operation when i had my little boy as i needed a c-section… that was the weirdest thing knowing they are slicing u open hahahah… i cud feel everything, the knife slicing etc but no pain if that makes sence…. but it was an amazing experience don worry babe u will e just fine xxx

Susielicious is right! I love going under anesthesea because I always try to fight it to see how long I can last before I’m knocked out.. (I must be weird ) Then before you know it, you’re dozily waking up with your two new puppies

You’ll be just fine! Think of the hardest situation you’ve been through in your life, then compare it to this.. You already know that you got through that situation, so this one will be a cinch x

I was terrified to hun, and as a nurse I;ve seen patients being put under hundreds of times with no complications but its still scary. I can say though one minute they were putting the aneasthsia in the nx I was waking up with fab new boobies…you’lbe fine huni xx

I’m really frightened about the being put to sleep bit!! I’m not frightened of having the op its just the anethestic!! I was thinking of taking Kalms or rescue remedy before the op! Does anyone know if this is allowed?
